The End.

As my life has changed dramatically in the last 3-4 years, I have changed through bikes, and locations. Now I am back in Australia, and I live basically in the outback on flat land with no corners to ride within 100km. So, with other things to do, I have finally hung up my helmet for good. I hope all of you that ride keep the rubber side down, and wear all the gear all the time. Best wishes to you all.

I have returned!

I'll add a photo when I remember, but, after some discussion, and careful consideration. I am back. I decided to look about, and bought a lovely K1600GT BMW 2012 model. 30k miles on it.

What the hell on insurance though, bastards won't let you count ANY previous experience and no claims. UK only, oh yeah, live in UK now :).

Didn't quite make 40 years on bikes.

On Saturday I sold the bike back to the dealer. I had to put some more money to pay off the Credit union, but it's over. I broke my wrist when I was 6 years old. It was a severe fracture and the result 49 years later is I have bad epicondylitis (tennis elbow).

Riding the bike just over an hour down to the shop almost put my right hand completely to sleep. I had thought it was just specific bikes doing it to me, part of my moving around on bikes a lot in the last 9 years.

Anyway, this is all she wrote. Goodbye motorcycle world. To those of you still on 2 wheels. Keep the rubber side down and remember ATGATT.

SO you thought you knew huh?

I am now riding the latest in my line of bikes over the last 6 years...

It's been a VERY interesting journey. I have always thought to myself, what if, what if you got an old school style bike, gave it more HP, better handling, better brakes, and it was in good working order..

2002 ZXR1200R with bits of this and that done to it. It's a fast, comfortable bike!.

Whoulda thunk it?

Well... I was surprised, then I bought it..

Yes, it's a Harley Davidson. 2012 Road Glide, and I like it a lot. It's heavy, but, it's so much more as a bike than the BMWs which were functional but uninspiring. Best of all, Leigh is comfortable again too.
